The Seattle City Pass is an all in one attraction pass for some of the most popular Seattle city sights, like the Seattle Space Needle, the Seattle Aquarium and even a harbor cruise.
The Seattle City Pass is perfect for tourists who want to see all the famous sites and museums and who are looking to save a bit of time and money in the process.
How the Seattle City Pass works
CityPass is a company that provides discount attraction tickets for a variety of popular tourist cities. The Seattle pass gives travellers access to five popular Seattle attractions:
- Space Needle
- Seattle Aquarium
- Argosy Cruises Harbor Tour
- EMP Museum OR Woodland Park Zoo
- Pacific Science Center OR The Museum of Flight
Once you purchase a Seattle City Pass you have access to five of the above attractions for a period of 9 consecutive days. You can visit up to five of the seven possible attractions only once each during that time. The passes cannot be shared or used at a later period beyond the 9 days.
Seattle City Pass Details
When you buy the pass, you are able to skip the lines for all of the attractions. This means that you do not wait at the ticket counter to collect tickets, you simply walk in with your Seattle City Pass ahead of those in line.
For the Space Needle however, there is still a line of people waiting to get to the viewing deck, so while you may skip the ticket line and save between five and ten minutes, you still have to wait along with everyone else to take the elevator up to the top of the building.
Another perk of the Seattle City Pass is an average savings of $58 for adults and $32 for children.
For those who only want to visit a few of these attractions, this pass will not have as much value. Each attraction is approximately $20 for admittance, so if you only wish to see 3 out of the 5 options, it’s probably not a good idea to buy the Seattle City Pass.
